Project Overview:
A 6,131 sqm central sorting hub in Athlone, Co. Westmeath. The expansion enabled the company to triple its daily parcel handling capacity from 50,000 to 150,000. This facility incorporates a large warehouse sorting facility and 2-storey office block. A new state of the art conveyor sorting facility was installed requiring dual redundancy power supplies. I.T. systems are of utmost importance to Interlink and this required a second back up hub remote from the main building should anything ever go faulty with the main IT hub.
